Corner Gas: The Movie is a 2014 Canadian comedy film starring Brent Butt based on the Corner Gas television series.

The film is set five years after the events of the television series finale, where the fictional community of Dog River, Saskatchewan is under inept management which is causing an exodus of its residents. Dog River's situation is also complicated by the shenanigans of a large corporation.


All members of the regular television series cast have reprised their roles for the film.[3]


Shooting occurred in Rouleau, Saskatchewan from 22 June to 22 July 2014.


The film's first public screening was 25 November 2014 in Regina at Canada Saskatchewan Production Studios, followed by a gala in Otttawa on 1 December. The film was screened in cinemas in Canada for a limited run between 3 and 7 December 2014, followed by broadcasts later that month on The Movie Network and CTV
